Food for thought...

With Kenda announcing they will be entering the 650B market and supplying, possibly, 3 tires, one thinks GT would quickly jump on board. It seems GT tends to specs good ol' Kenda rubber on A LOT of their bikes. Their 29'r offering was pretty weak, with the Peace 9'r. An EBB equipped frame without a disc brake option....very odd. They could have very well used less expensive horizontal drops, a cross over from their BMX line perhaps. Oh well, I'm not designing the bikes, so who am I to talk. I digress... GT, wanna hop aboard the 650B Members Only club? C'mon in, the water's fine!

GT would be a good candidate. They were experimenting with alternative wheel sizes years ago with the 700D wheeled MTBs.

Hopefully they aren't too afraid to venture into those waters again... Although it didn't work out so well, it was a great wheel size. They where way ahead of the times with that experiment.

Now consumers are pretty hip to new ideas in the MTB world. The 700D is only 3mm larger than the 650B,
700D iso = 587, while 650B=584. Again, more food for thought....

In 2007 they had the one 29er the Peace.

In 2008 they have added discs to their Peace series and they also have a FS 29er as well.

I never knew they spec'd most of their frames with Kendas though.

More about the Kenda tires please.
